My little beady corner of the world

I recently read a fellow beader/blogger's post about reorganizing her bead studio. It's a great blog, find it at:
http://daxdesigns. blogspot. com/
I have to confess that I love to organize. If I'm having "inspiration block", I use that as an excuse to reorganize my space. My "studio" is actually one wall of my guest room. There is a large window to the left with great southern exposure.
I use different storage containers for different things. I use multi drawer hardware organizers for my beads, cabs and findings. I love repurposing so I use a metal utensil caddy to hang my delica tubes, baskets for my tubes of size 6's and a wire decorative tree to hand hanks of charlottes. I also use fishing tackle organizers for my small findings and little shells. I like things out in the open so I can see my bead options at a glance. What fun!

The embroidered piece that I use for my Avatar is of my little dachshund, Ginja. We enjoyed her for 15 years and I still miss her. I decided to name my business Ginja Girl Designs in her honor. The embroidered picture is done in size 15 seed beads, measures about 3" square and took me over 50 hours to complete.
